A Derby Heavyweight set receives attention in the newly opened Sheffield Darnall depot in mid-1959. By the end of the year it would have 21 of these sets transferred from Lincoln. British Railways.

Class 124 DMCL E51967 on Darnall depot circa early 1985. Asbestos contaminated vehicles were taken there after withdrawal for boarding up (and component recovery?) before their final journey to the scrapyard, which for this vehicle would be at Snailwell. Mike Bunker.
